This ample open air stage has taken the shape of an amphitheatre and is situated in Oberschöneweide, in the heart of Volkspark Wuhlheide. The Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide is a listed building. The venue was thoroughly renovated in 1996/7 and the stage received a permanent tent-like roof on a steel structure on which the light and sound equipment can be attached.

This open air stage received its name Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide in 2003. In 2008 it was awarded the Live Entertainement Award. German band Die Ärzte played 6 concerts here, all sold-out with a total audience of over 100,000 people.

Every year, Berlin’s hit radio station 104.6 RTL organizes at the Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide its big open air festival STARS FOR FREE in the end of August.

Some further concert highlights in 2019 include Adel Tawil & Friends, Rocklegenden, Seeed live, Deichkind and for children and families the Geoline live open air.
