Open Air Concerts at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide
The Parkbühne Wuhlheide is located in Volkspark Wuhlheide in Oberschöneweide, built in 1951 for the World Festival of Youth and a garden monument since 1990. With around 17,000 standing places, it is Berlin's second-largest open-air stage after the Waldbühne. In 2026, The Cure played three sold-out evenings and Kraftklub played two. Open-air concerts take place here among old trees.
Parkbühne Wuhlheide is located in Volkspark Wuhlheide
The stage is located in Volkspark Wuhlheide in Oberschöneweide and was built in 1951 as the Grand Open-Air Stage for the III. World Festival of Youth. It was opened on July 27, 1951, and its terraced rows are situated on artificial rubble hills. Today, the amphitheater holds around 17,000 standing places, or about 15,300 with seated inner space. The stage measures 22.5 by 16 meters and is covered by a fixed steel tent roof. In 1996 and 1997, the venue was extensively renovated, after which it operated under the name Parkbühne Wuhlheide. From 2003 to 2019, it was called Kindl-Bühne; since then, it has reverted to its old name. Since August 25, 1990, it has been protected as a garden monument. It is operated by Parkbühne Wuhlheide GmbH, which bought the site from the State of Berlin in 2007. After the Waldbühne, it is the city’s second-largest open-air stage.
The 2026 Program at Parkbühne Wuhlheide
The season kicked off in June with Unheilig’s comeback open-air concert, shortly followed by Montez celebrating his 15th stage anniversary. The highlight of the season was in July: The Cure played three sold-out evenings in front of a total of 51,000 guests, with Just Mustard and The Twilight Sad as support acts, and because bassist Simon Gallup was ill, his son Eden filled in. At the end of July and beginning of August, Alligatoah gave two anniversary concerts. August brought AnnenMayKantereit for three evenings, Deftones, and Kraftklub, who played two sold-out shows with their tour “Sterben in Karl-Marx-Stadt” (Dying in Karl-Marx-Stadt). September saw Gestört aber Geil and Nina Chuba for three evenings. Tickets ranged from approximately 60 to 95 Euros depending on the concert and usually included travel with a VBB ticket for fare zones A, B, and C in advance sales.

Public Transport
S3 to Wuhlheide, from there about 900 meters through the park. Tram lines 27, 60, 61, and 67 stop at FEZ; for large concerts, special lines 60E and 67E also run from Schöneweide.

Advance tickets usually include round-trip travel within fare zones A, B, and C.
Parking
There are only a few parking spaces on An der Wuhlheide street. The operator strongly recommends arriving by bus and train.
Bags and Souvenirs
Handbags, belt bags, and pouches up to DIN A4 size are allowed, as well as one non-alcoholic beverage up to 0.5 liters without a cap. Backpacks, cooler bags, glass, cans, folding chairs, umbrellas, and cameras are not permitted.
