At Trattoria Cinque in Friedrichshain the gnocchi with goat cheese in a truffle butter sauce come out of the restaurant's own kitchen, Trattoria a' Muntagnola in Schöneberg gives its homemade noodles a chapter of their own on the menu and cooks the rare Lucanian cuisine of Basilicata alongside them, and at Kado Pasta in Wedding you pick between two kinds of noodle and thirteen house-made sauces. Mädchenitaliener has been cooking on Alte Schönhauser Straße since 2001 and builds its menu around tagliatelle, from the lemon version to the one with truffle. Main courses cost 12 to 21 Euros, a fixed-price menu is available at lunchtime, and for groups of seven or more the dishes are served family-style in bowls. Two dishes are fully vegan.
Caputo Pepino in Neukölln's Reuterkiez offers an unusually extensive pasta menu with fourteen dishes, ranging from Carbonara and Arrabiata for 13.50 Euros to pasta with truffle for 22.90 Euros. Additionally, they offer Pasta Mista as a portion for two, pick-up without delivery service, catering, and a private event room.
Pasta Pls! on Choriner Straße operates on a modular principle: There's exactly one type of pasta, freshly made tagliatelle in-store, and guests choose their sauce. The simple option costs 9.50 Euros, vegetarian and vegan combinations are possible, no reservations are taken, and the establishment delivers to fifteen Berlin districts.
Trattoria a' Muntagnola brings the Lucanian cuisine of Basilicata to Fuggerstraße and gives its homemade pasta a chapter of its own on the menu, from ravioli with ricotta and cinnamon to tagliolini cacio e pepe tossed in a hollowed Pecorino wheel. Pasta dishes cost 18.50 to 22.50 Euros, and gluten-free pasta is marked on the menu. The dining room seats around eighty.
Kado Pasta on Hochstraße in Wedding exclusively serves pasta: Guests choose between spaghetti and rigatoni and combine them with one of thirteen homemade sauces. The Napoli tomato sauce costs 6.90 Euros, and even the variant with fresh black truffle remains under twelve Euros. Seating is available indoors and outdoors.
La Galleria Italiana on Torstraße makes its own stuffed pasta and calls the homemade noodles the speciality of the house, above all the tortelloni with truffle. Alongside them come antipasti, caprese and carpaccio, seats outside, food to take away and a room for private celebrations. Reservations are taken by phone only.
