When the leaves turn golden and a fresh wind blows through the streets, Berlin becomes a stage in the autumn of 2026. On the Teufelsberg in Charlottenburg, colourful kites rise into the wide sky, while the Berliner Mueggelturm in Rahnsdorf opens up a view over glowing red forests. Anyone who prefers to let nature work its magic slowly can stroll through the Botanischer Garten Dahlem or lose themselves in the morbid charm of the Natur-Park Schoeneberger Suedgelaende. On rainy days, the Aquarium Berlin and a warming hamam invite you to retreat. Autumn shows the city in its warmest colours and invites you to rediscover it with open eyes. Which autumn day in Berlin sounds most tempting to you?

For this list, I roamed over the Teufelsberg and through the Botanical Garden with leaves crunching underfoot. Where I lingered longest was the Mueggelturm, where you simply cannot get enough of the view over the red forests. I am taking you along on a golden ramble through the city.
