Wellness Hotel-Spas 2026

Next to the Brandenburg Gate, a spa of around nine hundred square metres spreads across three levels, with eight treatment rooms and three private suites that each have their own sauna and steam bath. An eleven metre pool with whirlpool and its own pool bar, several theme saunas and a gym rebuilt in 2024 complete the picture.

On the fifth floor of the Zoofenster tower sits a spa of a thousand square metres that has worked under its own name since the start of 2025, no longer under that of a French cosmetics house. It holds a cloud-shaped indoor pool, a whirlpool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, five therapy rooms and a sun terrace one floor above.

In the embassy quarter at the edge of the Tiergarten lies a spa of 260 square metres inside a listed building of the thirties that was put up as the Royal Danish Embassy. It holds a fourteen metre pool, a Finnish sauna, three massage rooms, a gym and a quiet area looking into the park, plus a pool terrace facing the same greenery.

In the former jewellery vault of the Dresdner Bank, built in 1889, sits a spa of eight hundred square metres that has worked under a new brand since the end of 2024. Its twenty metre pool is framed by original marble columns, alongside a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a stalagmite ice fountain, a Kneipp foot basin and five treatment rooms.

On Potsdamer Platz lies the wellness area of a grand hotel that opened in 2004 inside the Beisheim Center and was rebuilt in 2019 for forty million euros. It holds a heated indoor pool, two saunas, a steam bath and a hot stone area. The treatments are run by an external spa specialist with a menu of her own, from aroma massage to a Lomi Lomi ritual.

Opposite Berlin Cathedral, the house reopened in early 2025 after the burst aquarium in its lobby had shut it down for two years. A vertical garden twenty-four metres high now grows in its place. The spa in the basement offers an indoor pool with a counterflow system, two Finnish saunas, an ice fountain and a Technogym fitness area.

Inside the Europa-Center on Budapester Strasse lies a spa and fitness area of eight hundred square metres that has existed since 2002. It holds a pool with a built-in bubble bath, three saunas, an ice grotto, a quiet room and a terrace. A day ticket at 39 euros opens the whole area to visitors without a room, sauna use included.

On Budapester Strasse, a few steps from the zoo, lies a modernised spa and fitness lounge with an indoor pool of eighteen by ten metres, a sauna, experience showers, an ice fountain and a heated bench. A wellness lift of its own leads down, the pool bar has a sun terrace with loungers, and the fit lounge carries Kinesis machines.

At the Hotel Q! on Knesebeckstrasse lies a small wellness area with a heated sand room conceived as a private beach in the middle of the city. A Finnish sauna at ninety degrees, a steam bath and a Japanese washing area with essential oils follow. There is no pool in this house, but there is a head spa line and a compact fitness corner.

Behind the brick facade of a former Schultheiss brewery on the Spandauer See lies a spa and sports club of 3,500 square metres across two floors. It holds a 25 metre pool, a fun pool with whirlpool, five saunas, an Ottoman steam bath, an ice igloo and a roof terrace with a log cabin sauna and a rooftop bar over the water.
