Luxury Hotels

The Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is located directly on Pariser Platz next to the Brandenburg Gate and features 307 rooms and 78 suites. The hotel houses the Michelin-starred Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer, five other dining establishments, and a three-story spa with its own entrance on Behrenstraße. The ballroom accommodates up to 500 guests.

The Grand Hyatt Berlin on Marlene-Dietrich-Platz was designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, with the interiors created by Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein. In addition to 342 rooms and suites, there are four dining establishments and a spa of over 800 square meters with an indoor pool and city views. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 850 guests.

The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin at Potsdamer Platz is an Art Deco-style hotel with 303 rooms and suites and the largest ballroom in Berlin's luxury hotel industry. Remains of the Berlin Wall stand outside the door, and inside the hotel are the POTS restaurant, the Curtain Club, and a wellness area with a lap pool and two saunas.

The Hotel Telegraphenamt sits in the former imperial main telegraph office on Monbijoustraße, a listed building with seven wings and two courtyards. Alongside its 97 rooms, maisonettes and suites it runs five of its own places to eat and drink and a fitness and longevity club of 1,200 square metres. The old pneumatic tube machine room survives in the cellar.

The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is located in the 118-meter-high Zoofenster building on Hardenbergstraße and is the tallest luxury hotel in Berlin. It features 232 rooms and suites, six gastronomic establishments in an Art Deco spirit, and a 1,000 square meter spa with a cloud-shaped indoor pool, sauna, and five treatment rooms.

Schlosshotel Berlin in Grunewald is the only luxury hotel in the city set in a historic private residence. The palace of 1911 was built for the lawyer Walther von Pannwitz, has 55 rooms and suites and its own garden with a terrace, and the whole house can be booked exclusively, for weddings as well as for film and photo shoots.

The Bristol Berlin on Kurfürstendamm has been an institution of City West since 1952 and has belonged to IHG's Vignette Collection since 2025. The hotel features 247 rooms and 56 suites, a heritage-protected spiral staircase, and an 18-meter heated indoor pool, which Herbert von Karajan inspired in 1972 and which was then the first hotel pool of its kind in Germany.

The Mandala Hotel at Potsdamer Platz is the only owner-run luxury hotel in Berlin and has the largest rooms of any five-star house in the city. Inside are FACIL with its two Michelin stars and the ONO Spa of 600 square metres on the eleventh floor, plus a gym on the roof that is open around the clock. Pets are not allowed.

Château Royal on Neustädtische Kirchstraße connects two historic 1880 buildings, which David Chipperfield Architects converted into a hotel with 93 rooms and suites. Over a hundred artworks hang throughout the building, in every room, the bar, the restaurant, and the stairwells. The largest suite is located beneath the building's bronze dome.

The InterContinental Berlin on Budapester Straße is the largest luxury hotel in the city with 558 rooms and the only one that is fully listed. Its chessboard facade is a landmark of the City West, the starred restaurant Hugos sits on the fourteenth floor and the spa covers 1,000 square metres with an indoor pool and sauna.
