With restaurants with a view I first pay attention to whether the view really carries the visit or only looks good in photos. I checked whether the kitchen keeps up with the location, whether the terrace is well sheltered and usable and whether the service stays attentive even when the place is full. In the end, what counts for me is whether a place offers more than just the lovely height.
