Berlin can do more than techno. Those looking for guitars, up-and-coming bands and exuberant alternative nights will find a lively indie scene in the city. At the Lido in Kreuzberg, rising bands perform regularly, and at the Astra Kulturhaus on the RAW grounds, Death Cab for Cutie and Lykke Li have already stood on stage. The Grüner Salon in Mitte draws you in with plush armchairs, chandeliers and a concert atmosphere, while the Bi Nuu in Kreuzberg hosts, alongside indie concerts, the legendary event „Rap am Mittwoch“.
