Hüttenzauber auf dem Winterfloß

A Christmas party in a floating restaurant in the middle of the Spree with a special chalet ambiance can also be booked in 2018 with the owners of Hauptstadtfloß as a private event.

In winter, the Hauptstadtfloß, exclusively booked for celebrations, spreads an Alpine flair at the mooring in Friedrichshain. Sheepskins, deer antlers, chandeliers, and cozy cushions create a rustic and snug chalet charm. A fire crackles in the fireplace.

Culinarily, guests can choose between a cozy fondue and a hot and cold winter buffet (e.g., with goose legs in a honey-beer crust, lamb’s lettuce with orange vinaigrette, and homemade cinnamon ice cream on hot plums). Mulled wine or Baileys chocolate punch are served as aperitifs. If the weather cooperates and the Spree is free of ice, the Christmas party on the raft also includes a 2-hour mulled wine cruise through festive and wintry Berlin.

Up to 35 people can be accommodated on the winter raft. In addition to Christmas parties, the Hauptstadtfloß can also be rented for other celebrations such as birthdays, bachelor parties, or weddings.
