With roots dating back to 1993, La Mambita at Kolonnenstraße 29 is Berlin's salsa dance school with the longest tradition, bringing LA-style to the city in 1999. The barbecue area at Columbiadamm begins approximately 300 meters behind the park entrance on the north side of Tempelhofer Feld. You barbecue with your own equipment, at least 25 centimeters above the ground; gas grills are prohibited throughout the entire field. An hour before opening, there's a dance instruction session without registration or a partner. For Salsa beginners, this means: learn the basic steps first, then head straight to the dance floor.

Authentic Spanish tapas cuisine can be found at Luisenstraße 41 in Mitte: an extensive menu, Spanish wines, and a space that gets loud and lively in the evenings.

At Potsdamer Platz, a tiny, few-centimeter-tall chef cooks directly on the plate: Le Petit Chef combines 3D projection with a multi-course menu, transforming dinner into a show.

AMRIT Mitte on Oranienburger Straße is one of Berlin's largest Indian restaurants: around 300 seats on the covered terrace, another 200 inside. The cuisine follows the Punjabi recipes of the Bans brothers, who opened their first establishment in 1996. For large groups and spontaneous visits, this is the most reliable Indian address in the city.

Brauhaus Südstern is history; since May 2026, SUUUD Brewery has been located on Hasenheide. Brewing continues on-site: six house-brewed varieties, from Pilsner with Saaz hops to Session IPA, half-liter starting from 5.50 Euros. The beer garden overlooks Volkspark Hasenheide, with live music and comedy on stage. No other brewery in Berlin is this young.
