On the top of Kreuzberg you can enjoy your picnic seasted in the grass and feasting your eyes on the city vista of West Berlin. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming, no matter if you are on a romantic walk with your date on the weekend, with a group of students or families – this is the park where the crowd from the neighbourhood of Bergmannstraße and Chamissostraße meet on sunny weekends.

Looking for refreshment in this park of 13 hectares? Try the popular Golgatha beer gaden, where you can enjoy your drinks and snacks on their sun terrace or sitting in a porch swing.

Children tend to prefer the small animal enclosure in the park, next to the restaurant Tomasa, a restaurant well-known for its great breakfasts. In winter the little ones shout with joy when they speed down the sledding hill of Viktoriapark.
