Wall Memorial Parliament of Trees

Wall Memorial Parliament of Trees

The monument "Parliament of Trees" was created by artist Ben Wargin in 1990 and commemorates the people who died on the Berlin Wall.

The names of the people who died at the Berlin Wall are listed on granite plates. The installation is completed with trees, memorial stones, pictures and texts.

The Parlianment of Trees had to be reduced in size for the construction of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders House. In the Elisabeth-Lüders House there is a circular room in which segments of the Berlin Wall were reerected. Artist Ben Wargin had secured these segments for his art.
