Belfry of the Olympic Stadium

Belfry of the Olympic Stadium

The Belfry at the Olympic Stadium was built for the 11th Olympic Games.

A fast lift takes the visitor up the 77-metres-high tower, from there you have a fabulous view over the entire former Olympic facilities, the neighbouring natural reserve and of course Berlin.

You get a vista from Spandau to Alexanderplatz and with favourable weather conditions, you can look as far as Potsdam and the Müggelberge hills. In the base of the tower there is an exhibition by the German Museum of History about the changeful history of the place.
