Wall Site Mauerpark

The Mauerpark (Wall Park) was created in the former border strip as a public green space which contains about 300 metres of original Berlin Wall!

This part of the rear border fortifications went along the Friedrich-Jahn-Stadium and was therefore especially massive.

This remain of the Berlin Wall has been listed since 2001. The Mauerpark links the districts of Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg and leads from Behmstraße to Bernauer Straße, where, after taking a walk along the park, you can visit the official Berlin Wall Memorial.
