



Restaurant Ausspanne is crafting a delicious Easter menu for Easter 2019, featuring Easter eggs, Easter lamb, and homemade eggnog!
The old Berlin tavern Ausspanne is preparing for Easter 2019 and wants to spoil its guests again with delicacies centered around the theme of the egg. The restaurant in the cozy Hotel Kastanienhof serves its guests a special 3-course Easter menu focused on the Easter egg.
Whether marinated, baked, or pickled, the trio of quail eggs with spicy wild herbs like yarrow, burnet, or chard, along with king oyster mushrooms and pumpernickel, perfectly tunes the taste buds for the festive dinner.
The menu therefore begins with a poached farm egg on a bed of vegetables with wild herbs and pickled radishes. The main course – traditionally Easter-themed – features lamb hip with broccoli, green asparagus, and potato Baumkuchen. For dessert, there’s eggnog mousse made from homemade eggnog, chocolate, and rhubarb.
The Easter menu will be offered at Ausspanne from April 19th to 22nd, 2019. Reservations are recommended.
