In vibrant Friedrichshain, urban apes has opened its third and by far largest bouldering gym in Berlin. Where wine for the GDR elite was once stored in the cellar of the Bohemian Brewery, a modern bouldering paradise was created. With a total area of 3,200 m² and 1,400 m² of bouldering wall space, there’s plenty of room to try out new routes and improve your skills.

With around 160 boulders that are regularly updated, the excitement remains consistently high. The walls vary in height and difficulty, so everyone truly gets their money’s worth. Modern Kilter and Tension boards are also available, and the gastronomy area invites you to recharge your energy. By the way, every Monday, students receive discounted admission here.

Climbing Gym for the Whole Community

Whether alone or in a group, pro or novice: The course offerings include taster, basic, and advanced courses for all levels. Even the youngest climbers are not left out: Special training sessions, birthday parties, and holiday camps for kids are firmly part of the program. The facilities also include rental equipment such as climbing shoes and chalk, changing rooms with showers, and a fitness and warm-up area.
