It is served crispy roasted on a flat plate, with the end of the leg in a foil sleeve. The offer runs throughout the entire goose season, making it suitable for a quiet evening during Advent, not just around the holidays. Reservations should be made early, as goose dishes are highly sought after in the weeks leading up to Christmas. This is especially true for weekend evenings, when the establishment is already well-visited. In addition to goose, a venison roast is also on the menu in winter, and a special Christmas menu is added for the holidays.

Ciao Wannsee is located where Berlin transitions towards Potsdam. The establishment sees itself as an Italian restaurant, which one might not initially expect for a goose roast.
