Picnic at Viktoriapark

A picnic with a waterfall - that's what Kreuzberg's Viktoriapark in the neighbourhood of Bergmannstraße stands for.

You could say that the area has a wild romantic landscape: from the top of Kreuzberg an artifical waterfall plummets down while groups sitting in the grass nearby enjoy the view over West Berlin.

If you don’t feel like packing your own picnic basket, you can order whatever your heart desires at the Restaurant Tomasa to pick it up. Additional refreshment can be found in this park of 13 hectares in the popular Golgatha beer garden, where you can enjoy your drinks and snacks either on the sun terrace or a porch swing.

The little ones love the small animal enclosure in the park, right next to Restaurant Tomasa, well-known for its awesome breakfast. Wintertime turns the Kreuzberg into a sledding hill.
