Lion Burger & Steak is located at Warschauer Straße 82 in Friedrichshain, approximately 200 meters south of Frankfurter Tor, where the U5 subway and trams M10 and 21 stop. From there, it’s not far to the Simon-Dach-Kiez, Boxhagener Straße, Oberbaumbrücke, and the East Side Gallery, making the restaurant a convenient stop before or after sightseeing. The establishment has been at this location since 2015. In good weather, tables are set outside; otherwise, guests enter a dining room that is intentionally rustic and focuses on relaxed hospitality rather than design.

350 Degree Hot Stone, Buns from Kreuzberg

The beef for the burgers is regionally sourced from a butcher and grilled over lava stones that reach over 350 degrees Celsius. Fresh buns are delivered every morning by a baker from Kreuzberg, and sauces, including a Swiss-style fondue sauce, are made in-house. A cheeseburger costs 8.80 Euros, and curly fries are 5.20 Euros. The steaks come from Argentina, with options including a 240-gram rump steak, a 220-gram entrecôte, and a 200-gram sirloin steak. For vegetarians, there’s a homemade mozzarella patty; for vegans, one made from quinoa, beans, beetroot, and zucchini. Also available are Crispy Chicken Burgers, an American BBQ Steak Sandwich, and homemade lemonade.
