Minigolf at Insulaner: A Green Classic

For decades, the facility at the foot of Insulaner Park has been an integral part of Schöneberg’s leisure culture. In May 2025, a new team took over the mini-golf course at Insulaner and initially continued operations as usual. The heart of the facility remained: the 18-hole course is located in the middle of Insulaner Park, surrounded by old trees and extensive greenery. At Insulaner, you play on arguably Berlin’s most beautiful and greenest course, relaxing among old trees. However, a lot is also happening behind the scenes: Based on the first months of operation, renovations were carried out in the sales kiosk during winter, and gradually the mini-golf courses and toilet facilities are being overhauled.

A round on all 18 holes costs 4.50 Euros per person, making the outing affordable for groups and families. It’s especially nice afterward to settle down with a drink on one of the comfortable benches or in a rocking chair. Because the facility offers more than just mini-golf: a cozy sun terrace in the middle of Insulaner Park invites you to linger.

More than Courses: Activities for Good Weather in Berlin

For a long sunny day at Insulaner, the facility is the perfect destination. In addition to the terrace, there is a sunbathing lawn for relaxing, as well as free beach volleyball and a large climbing frame. Furthermore, the new team has expanded its offerings: now available are grill rental for private parties, the option of exclusive pitch rental, and various public events. For those who prefer to sit together in a social setting rather than playing rounds: various board games are available for free for all who come for more than just mini-golf. The season runs from April 1st to October 3rd. The facility is open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 20:00.
