Restorani Tbilisi

Georgian hospitality with fireplace warmth in Prenzlauer Berg: Restorani Tbilisi at Arnimplatz combines Caucasian grill cuisine, handmade Khinkali, and exquisite Georgian wines with the crackling fire of a natural stone fireplace.
Restorani Tbilisi: Caucasus meets Fireplace Room
Not far from Schönhauser Allee subway station, the Georgian restaurant Tbilisi is located in the premises of the former “Fleisch und Wein” establishment. The beautiful natural stone fireplace has been preserved and still provides a warm, cozy atmosphere. Owner Levan Khutchua specifically orders good wood that emits a pleasant scent when burning. The ambiance is simple but cozy: lots of wood, natural stone, and white chairs at simple wooden tables. Outside, the neighborhood hums; inside, the fireplace crackles. In winter, one sits comfortably by the fire; in summer, the terrace opens.
Grilled Skewers, Khachapuri, and Walnut Wonders
The exclusively Georgian kitchen team daily prepares traditional specialties according to traditional family recipes, with many spices and ingredients coming directly from Georgia. Dishes rarely found in Berlin then land on the table. Four skewer variations of chicken, pork, lamb, or salmon are marinated for 48 hours and then prepared on the lava stone grill. The various Khachapuri are also particularly popular: the boat-shaped Adjaruli Khachapuri with steaming Imeretian cheese, egg yolk, and butter is a classic of the house. Even without meat, you’ll feel full here, for example, with appetizers made from eggplant, beetroot, and spinach with walnuts. A Georgian wine is highly recommended. The restaurant serves carefully selected wines from one of the oldest wine-growing countries in the world. The restaurant is well-visited, so a reservation is recommended.
