One rarely thinks of Gatow for a fireplace. Nevertheless, the drive to the western outskirts of the city is worth it. The Goldhorn-Beefclub in Berlin-Gatow is considered one of the most exclusive beef clubs in the world. You can feel it as soon as you enter: The restaurant is stylishly furnished, with gold, brown, and black dominating the interior, and guests sit at rustic wooden tables with high-quality accessories. The fireplace completes the warm, intimate atmosphere.

The concept behind it is clear: it is a club primarily available to its members. Club memberships come in three tiers. Even without a membership, you can enter; a free day membership is sufficient for that. Furthermore, there is a smoking lounge with an integrated humidor, comfortable leather armchairs, and soothing music.

Goldhorn-Beefclub: Where Charcoal Meets World-Class Meat

The difference from other fireplace establishments is primarily on the plate. The menu includes up to 200 cuts from 21 different beef breeds such as Wagyu, Black Angus, and Kobe beef. Time-tested grilling methods are reinterpreted and prepared on a HaJaTec grill with charcoal and a patented high-tech grill grate. In addition, the offerings are not limited to beef: Ibérico pork, French Miéral poultry, as well as the finest fish and seafood are also on the menu. Selected wines, hearty beers, and creative cocktails complement the meal. With two weeks’ advance order, a Kobe fillet of the highest marbling grade can also be served over charcoal.
