In Wedding, at Prinzenallee 58, Kamine & Wein is arguably Berlin's warmest concept: a specialist stove retailer with an attached wine bar, where up to five stoves burn simultaneously. Drinking wine while real fireplaces crackle all around – this is unique in the city.

Kamine & Wein: Where the Showroom Becomes a Wine Bar

The basic idea is as simple as it is brilliant: a wine shop and a specialist stove retailer under one roof. Over 40 stoves can be experienced here, up to five of which are burning demonstration models. In the evenings, you sit literally in an exhibition on Prinzenallee, enjoying a glass of wine. Further models are located in the stove treasury in the vaulted cellar. So, the warmth here comes directly from the product range.

The atmosphere is very cozy, and the existing fireplaces make it comfortably warm. It’s not as loud as many other venues, and the audience is well mixed. Open daily from 18:00 to midnight.

Wine Selection and Atmosphere

On the wall of the cozy shop, numerous carefully selected wine bottles from Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, and Chile are lined up in open wooden crates. The team is happy to help choose the right drop, from simple everyday wines to wines for special occasions. Around 20 red and white wines are always offered for open pouring. Bottles can also be taken away; for on-site enjoyment, a five-euro corkage fee applies.

Moreover, Kamine & Wein is more than just a restaurant with a fireplace. The shop is an art space for the “Kolonie Wedding” project, which is why new art exhibitions and cultural events regularly take place. Thus, the crackling of the fire meets the cultural life of the neighborhood.
