The red clinker building with its Gothic window facade, built around 1892, was once an engine house for operating the waterfall in Viktoriapark. Today, it has become one of Kreuzberg’s most atmospheric venues. Two fireplaces provide extra coziness, and when a sea of red blankets and candlelight spreads in the evening, a true holiday feeling emerges in Villa Kreuzberg.

Spread over two floors, the classically-modern furnished villa features niches, armchairs, and lounge areas. Tomasa never feels museum-like, but rather vibrant and hospitable. The menu combines hearty breakfast classics with creative tapas, juicy schnitzels, fish dishes, and fine vegetarian and vegan options.

Tomasa offers a weekly menu with seasonal dishes such as tarte flambée with pumpkin, Serrano ham, goat cheese, and spring onions, as well as a daily menu with two daily lunch specials. Lunch is relaxed, while in the evening, guests linger longer by the fireplace. The cuisine cannot be assigned to any specific direction but draws from all possible international influences as well as down-to-earth German classics.

Regular tango events take place on Thursdays, and the former engine house can accommodate up to 130 people depending on the seating arrangement, making it suitable for weddings and celebrations. There is also a covered gallery in the inner courtyard, and a small animal enclosure next to the park.
