Ostermenü im Schloss Britz

The restaurant in the manor house of Schloss Britz invites guests to a 3 or 4-course menu at Restaurant Schloss Britz on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The park of Schloss Britz is open to guests for a subsequent Easter stroll.

The Easter menu, served on April 20 and 21, 2019, begins with a light corn cream soup with barbecue foam and quail breast. This is followed by a delicious cod fillet with green asparagus, tomato, and lemon. The main course features two kinds of beef (roasted and braised) with balsamic jus and root vegetables. For dessert, the Schloss Britz kitchen team serves an advocaat mascarpone cream with chocolate and rhubarb.

Schloss Britz is an unusual training project of the Hotel Estrel Berlin. For six months at a time, a team of trainees moves their workplace and training location to Britz to manage the restaurant and the associated small hotel independently. The trainees look after their guests with great warmth and dedication. The restaurant offers a varied menu with fresh regional specialties as well as a well-stocked wine list.

The magnificent Britz manor house was once owned by high-ranking Prussian officials. Today, in addition to the restaurant and the small hotel, the listed building also houses museum rooms showcasing the living culture of the Wilhelminian era. Concerts, readings, and other cultural events are regularly held in the neighboring Ochsenstall (ox stable).

The beautiful castle park was also listed as a historical monument in 1990 and provides the perfect setting for an Easter stroll after the opulent Easter menu.
