Odeon Kino

Odeon Kino

If you like to watch movies in their original version, you will love the Odeon!

The Odeon is actually a special feature among the Berlin cinemas! This little repertory cinema is one of a kind - even among our list of special cinemas. Since 1958 it has been Berlin's first movie to screen movies in its original versions. It's been screening those films ever since, thus making it a favorite among students of English and American studies, expats and native speakers.

Your special movie theatre experience will start right upon entering the cinema: a nostalgic neon sign and an American display panel set the tone for the evening.

The inside takes you back to a time without multiplex cinemas. The Odeon has only one screen and students and culture-inclined people alike relax in the red plush seats.

Top10 Berlin insiders' tip: Apart from (salty) popcorn, their brownies are a real snack treat!
