The Futurium is located directly on the banks of the Spree, between the Reichstag and the main train station, in Tiergarten. Due to its modern and special design, it is one of the top photo spots in Berlin. The “House of the Future” is one of the youngest buildings in the government district in Berlin and was completed in September 2017. The opening is scheduled for spring 2019.

The Futurium is considered a forum of the future and deals with questions around the design of the future. The building complements and completes the government district and fits in well in the area with its architectural style. It is characterized by clear shapes, large, light-flooded windows and interesting patterns. The open space in front of the Futurium is decorated with large circles on the floor. This circle-shaped surface gives photos its own touch and makes them unique.

The pictures of the Futurium are weather- and season-independent, as the entrance area is covered. Especially as a futuristic backdrop, as a spot for portraits or fashion shoots, the Futurium is popular. Motif diversity arises from the different angles, from which can be photographed. The creativity of photographers, for example when zooming in on the circles in front of the Futurium, is unlimited.
