Until 2012, Germany's northernmost wheat beer brewery, with a sterling silver brewhouse, stood here. The menu features Bavarian classics alongside Berlin-style Eisbein.

At Potsdamer Platz, where the Sony Center once brought football fans together, the heart of Berlin's football summer beats again for the 2026 World Cup. The Center at Potsdamer Platz will broadcast ten selected matches for free on Germany's largest 3D LED wall, mostly weather-protected under the iconic roof in Berlin-Mitte.

Free entry in the Philharmonie foyer: The lunch concert lasts about 40 to 50 minutes, there are no tickets, instead a chip at the entrance. No reservations can be made, and if the foyer is full, the door remains closed - those who want to be sure to get in should queue up forty-five minutes beforehand. In addition, affordable, mostly vegetarian dishes are available in the house.

Less than 500 metres from the central station lies a 22,000 square metre complex built in the style of a Balinese temple village, with teak walkways, bamboo and stone statues. Thirteen saunas and steam baths are spread across the main building and the garden, along with a 50 square metre indoor pool, a heated outdoor pool and three relaxation basins.

The Grand Hyatt Berlin on Marlene-Dietrich-Platz was designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, with the interiors created by Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein. In addition to 342 rooms and suites, there are four dining establishments and a spa of over 800 square meters with an indoor pool and city views. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 850 guests.

At Potsdamer Platz, a tiny, few-centimeter-tall chef cooks directly on the plate: Le Petit Chef combines 3D projection with a multi-course menu, transforming dinner into a show.
