Theatersport Berlin im BKA

Founded in 1995, it has cultivated a special form of improvisational theater, “Theatersport”. This means two teams of actors compete – similar to football – against each other. Both teams engage in a contest for the audience’s favor, with the theater stage as their arena. The audience is involved, practically taking on the role of director, and ultimately crowns the winner. Stories emerge before the eyes of the spectators, who make suggestions for the plot. Almost anything is playable, comedy, tragedy, depending on the audience’s mood. Great theatrical fun for everyone involved. Performances take place at the BKA Theater on Mehringdamm.
