Perched 55 meters high above the rooftops of Charlottenburg, the Funkturm Restaurant offers panoramic views from Grunewald to the TV Tower. This listed landmark from 1926 combines Berlin history with upscale cuisine in its faithfully restored Art Nouveau interior.

Funkturm Restaurant: Dining with a Berlin City Panorama

If you’re looking for a restaurant with a view in Berlin, you’ll find it here. At a height of 55 meters, the Funkturm Restaurant combines excellent cuisine with a view over all of Berlin. A glass elevator takes visitors up in exactly 33 seconds. Once at the top, a hall awaits, which has barely changed in decades. Even Marlene Dietrich appreciated the atmosphere of the Art Nouveau restaurant in the Funkturm, built in 1926. The interior is not a museum relic, but a consciously preserved heritage.

The view extends from the green Teufelsberg over the government district to the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz. On clear days, the visibility extends far beyond the city limits. Those who snag a window seat quickly understand why this establishment has stood for almost a century.

Themed Buffets and Upscale Cuisine at Lofty Heights

The restaurant combines upscale cuisine with one of the city’s most spectacular views. In its faithfully restored Art Nouveau interior, à la carte dishes and monthly changing themed buffets are served, prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Every Friday and Saturday, guests can expect seasonally changing themed buffets from 18:00 to 22:00 for 64.50 Euros. While this experience is not the cheapest in Berlin, it is also true that you are paying for the view. The Funkturm Restaurant welcomes its guests on weekends from 18:00 to 22:00, and by prior arrangement. A reservation is therefore highly recommended.
