Das Georgische Restaurant Supra

At Hackescher Markt in Mitte, directly under the S-Bahn arches, Supra serves Georgian cuisine as a complete experience: Khachapuri, Khinkali, and natural wines from the Caucasus meet folk music and dance. Those who dine here aren't just having dinner; they're in the midst of a Georgian feast.
The Georgian Restaurant Supra Berlin: When Food Becomes a Celebration
Under the motto „Georgian Joy” the Georgian restaurant Supra from Barcelona opened a branch in Berlin. Behind the restaurant is owner Micky Tetra, who successfully established the first Supra restaurant in Barcelona in 2021. With this, he brings a concept to Mitte that was not yet found in the German capital. While Supra is by no means the first Georgian restaurant to serve classics like Khachapuri, Khinkali, and Badrijani, as well as Georgian wine, it is probably the first to offer such a high level of entertainment.
„Supra” or „Kiepi” is part of Georgian culture: a feast with exquisite dishes and fantastic wines, accompanied by selected music and sophisticated dances. So, if you’re looking for a quiet stop to fill up, you might be in the wrong place. However, if you want to experience an evening where the atmosphere rises as the plates get full, you’re exactly right.
Khachapuri, Khinkali, and Dance Between Courses
The menu of the Georgian restaurant in Berlin-Mitte leaves nothing to be desired. Culinary highlights include traditional dishes such as the stuffed bread Khachapuri, juicy meat skewers Mtsvadi, Georgian cheese, and a variety of fresh vegetables. These specialties are complemented by exquisite wines from Georgia’s best wine regions, perfectly rounding off the culinary experience.
What truly sets Supra apart from other Georgian restaurants in Berlin, however, is the atmosphere surrounding it. Between courses, dances from various regions of Georgia are performed, which are both impressive and simply joyful. The team masterfully enhances the mood through excellent hospitality. This creates an evening that goes far beyond just food and truly brings the Georgian cultural tradition of communal feasting to life. Reservations are therefore highly recommended, especially on weekends.
