Beer Garden in Berlin with Plane Trees, Lounge and Winter Garden

The Parkcafé impresses with a bright, spacious wood-and-glass building that combines an indoor and outdoor lounge, a stylish winter garden, and a large beer garden with a fountain and plane trees. Those who sit outside enjoy a pleasant climate even on hot summer days under the shade of the plane trees. Additionally, there’s a comfortably furnished outdoor lounge that invites you to linger. Table service is provided: The staff members approach guests as quickly, friendly, and competently as possible, though short waiting times may occur in the summer when the garden is busy.

The menu offers something suitable for almost any time of day. An international breakfast selection, a changing crossover cuisine, an affordable lunch menu, and a breakfast special card cater to every taste. Breakfast is available until 6 PM, which makes the Parkcafé particularly attractive for late risers. In addition, Bavarian specialties from the outdoor grill are served.

The Parkcafé: An Integral Part of Wilmersdorf Since 2002

In June 2000, the concept initially started as a mobile beer garden on a quarter of the square. After some setbacks, the permanent building was finally opened in May 2002. Since then, the Parkcafé has become an indispensable part of the neighborhood. Those who want to explore the area will find it easy: The directly adjacent Preußenpark is known for the Thaiwiese (Thai meadow), where Thai families have been offering traditional street food on weekends since the 1990s (today on Württembergische Straße). Immediately in front of the Parkcafé, a popular flea market also takes place, held every Saturday and Sunday from April to November. Between a Berlin beer garden, Thai street food, and Sunday flea market finds, an entire day can be spent here.
