What makes BAR JEDER VERNUNFT so special as an experience gastronomy?
BAR JEDER VERNUNFT, opened in 1992 in an old dance tent from the turn of the century, is considered one of the best addresses for cabaret, comedy, and shows in Berlin. Regular performers include Maren Kroymann, Meret Becker, Gayle Tufts, Désirée Nick, Pigor & Eichhorn, and Die Geschwister Pfister.
However, BAR JEDER VERNUNFT not only offers a rich cultural program but also a lot gastronomically. Guests can either order à la carte from the changing evening menu or book a 3-course menu in advance, which might read as follows: A parsnip soup with wild garlic and walnut pesto is followed by a roasted corn-fed chicken leg on two types of carrot and baked polenta, with a final rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream and almond sabayon
as dessert. Vegetarians can easily receive a meat-free main course within the menu.
The champagne seats are particularly exquisite, where the menu is complemented with champagne by candlelight.
Good to know: Appetizer and main course are served before the show, dessert is served during the intermission.
