Its mooring could hardly be more historic: just twenty meters away stretches the East Side Gallery, the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall, and the Shipotel is situated in the former border area between the two halves of the city.

Depending on the occasion and setup, it can be exclusively booked for groups of 20 to 120 people, from small gatherings to large parties.

Basic facilities include lounge furniture, a sound system, lighting technology, microphones, toilets, and power outlets; additional technology can be added upon request. The Shipotel offers its own catering, from finger food to buffets and set menus, and also allows external catering by arrangement. Parts of the lounge are barrier-free accessible.

The indoor area is heated and weather-protected, ensuring the lounge remains a warm event venue even during the colder half of the year; in summer, everything moves to the deck. Convenient for guests: overnight stays are possible directly aboard the two hotel ships. Warschauer Straße train station is a three-minute walk away. Due to its waterside location, there are no private parking spaces; the East Side Mall parking garage is 500 meters away.
