Famous Liquor Store

The former cocktail bar on Nestorstraße was completely converted into a Hollywood set in 2023: checkerboard floor, red diner furniture, and black-and-white portraits of film icons across 190 square meters. As a special birthday venue in Berlin, the Famous Liquor Store scores with a stage, dance floor, and drink packages starting from 40 Euros per person.

Famous Liquor Store: Hollywood Setting in Wilmersdorf

The Liquor Store has been on Nestorstraße for over twenty years, just a few minutes from Kurfürstendamm. In early 2023, the former cocktail bar was completely renovated and dedicated entirely to the theme of Hollywood: black-and-white checkerboard tiled floor, red diner furniture, disco balls, and large-format black-and-white portraits of film icons on the walls. 190 square meters can accommodate up to 100 guests, 80 of whom can be seated. Access is at ground level and barrier-free, with four toilets included.

For a birthday party, this primarily means: the technology is already there. A stage measuring 4.5 by 3 meters adjoins the dance floor, accompanied by a DJ booth, a 2,400-watt sound system, seven screens, four projectors and four large displays, as well as a controllable lighting system, wireless microphones, and a speaker’s lectern. The bar is large, the kitchen is in-house, and individual seating areas can be separated.

Private Event with its Own Program

The venue is rented exclusively for private and closed events; apart from the in-house bar show, there are no public evenings. So, whoever books has the location all to themselves. Billing is usually done via drink packages: The basic package with draft beer, sparkling wine, wine, and all soft drinks is 40 Euros per person; with five long drinks, it’s 47 Euros; and with an additional five cocktails, it’s 59 Euros. Individually, a 0.3-liter Pils costs 3.80 Euros, a Gin Tonic 7.40 Euros.

Upon request, the team can arrange DJs and artists and offers karaoke, videomixing, and cocktail workshops. Also available for booking are a fun waiter, a pantomime and magic act, or a French Can-Can show with several short performances. The in-house kitchen provides hot and cold finger food, cold and hot buffets, and a midnight snack upon request; partner catering is also possible. Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity, and S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and bus stops are within walking distance.
