WhatAGame: The Game Show Where the Group Plays Itself

At Revaler Straße 100 in Friedrichshain, a four-minute walk from Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station, WhatAGame operates an interactive game show. For two and a half hours, groups compete against each other in 7 to 15 games, divided into categories of movement, knowledge, tactics, and skill. Points are awarded in each game, and a winning team is determined at the end.

A dedicated host guides the show, explains the rules, and customizes the games to suit the group’s size, age, and interests. Games are predominantly played indoors, with an outdoor section added during the summer months. Sports attire is not required; normal clothing and sturdy shoes are sufficient.

Who is WhatAGame suitable for?

The format works for as few as two people and can accommodate groups of up to 150. Accordingly, birthdays are often celebrated here, along with bachelor parties, team events, and corporate parties. Anyone from 8 years old can participate, and the show can also be run in English upon request.

The base price is 260 Euros for up to four people; each additional person costs 33 Euros. For eight people, this is approximately 49 Euros per person, and for 20 people, about 39 Euros. Alcohol is prohibited during the show, but non-alcoholic beverages are available on site. Online bookings can be made at least five days in advance; for short-notice appointments, a phone call helps.
