Mauermuseum am Checkpoint Charlie

Kreuzberg

In front of the museum is the former Checkpoint Charlie. Inside, everything revolves around the creative escape attempts of people in the GDR and the border security system of that time.

An original self-firing device is on display, and a model vividly explains how the border was secured.

Particularly interesting is the documentation of escape aids: suitcases, cable reels, flying objects, and even cars can be seen in the exhibition.
