Hand puppets, rod puppets, marionettes, shadow theatre figures, and special trick figures – at a birthday party in the Puppet Theatre Museum, children aged 4 and up can really 'let the puppets dance' and perform their own plays.

The Puppet Theatre Museum Berlin is an experience for children, teenagers, and adults. The museum is not only an exhibition venue but also a children’s theatre that performs puppet shows for children aged 4 and up and hosts children’s birthday parties.

Children’s afternoons take children between three and eight years old on a journey through the world of puppets and puppet theatre. They playfully learn about fairy tales and stories. The children’s birthday parties, where children can ‘let the puppets dance’ themselves, are very popular.

In addition to playing with puppets, fairy tale performances, or building a paper theatre for young birthday guests, the Puppet Theatre Museum also offers a witch festival or an evening flashlight tour through the museum for older children aged 8 and up, which can sometimes be a little spooky.

Registration is requested for children’s birthday parties and other programs.
