Berliner Kinder Theater

The Berliner Kinder Theater’s family theatre series are performed seasonally en-suite. The grand summer theatre takes place open air for the whole family on the open-air stage of Spandau Citadel. The Winter Theatre Quarter is located in Berlin-Reinickendorf, in the Fontane-Haus in the Märkisches Viertel.

Both series of the Berliner Kinder Theater primarily feature well-known stories, children’s book classics or film successes, such as The Jungle Book or Pippi Longstocking. In the summer theatre, it causes a sensation that Little Old Man (Pippi’s horse) is played by a real horse.

In Berlin, the Berliner Kinder Theater has been one of the city’s professional children’s theatres for thirty years.
