In Berlin-Mitte, not far from Museum Island, Cuore di Vetro stands for artisan gelato of the highest quality. Behind a glass manufactory, fresh ice cream made daily from organic milk and seasonal fruit is created. Classics meet clever flavor compositions that you won't soon forget.

Cuore di Vetro: Gelato with Character

Those looking for trendy ice cream in Berlin will sooner or later end up at Max-Beer-Straße 33. What distinguishes this ice cream parlor from others: each flavor is designed from scratch, so it has not only its own taste, but also its own texture and thus its own character. You can taste it. Up to 16 ice cream flavors, varying throughout the day, are available, always freshly made with organic milk for cream-based flavors and fresh, seasonal fruit for sorbets.

Cuore di Vetro operates on the so-called espresso principle: continuous production throughout the entire day. Nothing comes from storage, which is why the offerings change from early to late. So, if you come at noon and again in the evening, you will literally experience two different ice cream menus.

Memorable Flavors

Classics include Dark Chocolate, Tiramisu, and Pistachio made according to original Italian recipes, while more unusual creations like Raspberry Cheesecake, Grapefruit Basil, or Ricotta Fig provide surprising moments. Salted Caramel is particularly recommended. All sorbets are also vegan, and occasionally there are other vegan varieties.

A real eye-catcher is the glass kitchen inside, where the ice cream is produced and where every guest can take a look. This turns eating ice cream almost into an experience. Furthermore, the art-loving operators from Berlin-Mitte regularly host vernissages, exhibitions, author readings, and concerts. This means Cuore di Vetro has long been more than just an ice cream parlor; it’s a fixed meeting point in the neighborhood.
