With high-quality boxes, the contents of which consist of sushi, sashimi, ceviche, veggie variations or tartar, the GO team supplied the fine palate of Berlin and convinced in a short time that the GO kitchen is in the renowned luxury hotel on Potsdamer Platz, The Ritz- Carlton. The delivery impresses with a high-quality design, starting with the chic black paper bag and ending with sushi in an elegant black box. Sashimi, ceviche, veggie variations and co are presented like in a very good restaurant and contain many small extra work steps so that the look does not look like that of any delivery service. This is also noticeable in the processing of the products – the freshness and quality match the first impression made by the premium sushi.
If you expect classic Japanese cuisine, you have to compromise because there is a lot of sauce and creative variations, which does not mean that it is less good, it is just not classic.

A pop-up restaurant of the brand is now opening at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin. The renowned luxury hotel on Potsdamer Platz has served the Hamburg company as a branch in the capital for several weeks – with its own restaurant, GO by Steffen Henssler is expanding its culinary offer for an initial nine months.

The location for the pop-up restaurant is the former Fragrances Bar, which impresses with new interior nuances. At the entrance to the restaurant, eight traditional Japanese values and eight basic components of the culinary experience in the GO symbolize the soul of the concept, hand-drawn on Japanese Washi paper. An artistic sake barrel, framed by bottles from the in-house GO Junmai, forms an exciting component in the middle of the room. Japanese accessories and handmade tableware create an inspiring feel-good atmosphere.

Steffen Henssler is very happy about the opening in the capital: “I was asked very often whether we could also open a restaurant in Berlin – now the time has come! In addition to our sushi specialties, we serve unusual signature dishes that are inspired by modern Japanese cuisine and were specially created for the opening in Berlin. We look forward to the great partnership with The Ritz-Carlton and to great months to come with our guests! “
