Located at Bergstraße 68 in Mitte, Distrikt Coffee has established itself as one of the top addresses for specialty coffee and brunch in Berlin. Coffee from Berlin and European roasteries, an all-day breakfast with superfoods, and exposed brick walls create a relaxed atmosphere.

Between a third-wave coffee shop and a small gallery, Distrikt Coffee is located where you would least expect it: on a quiet side street in Mitte. The coffee comes from Fjord in Berlin and rotating European roasteries, prepared by trained baristas. Additionally, there’s an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, homemade cakes, and bread and pastries from local artisan bakeries. For tea drinkers, a carefully selected tea assortment from Companion in Kreuzberg is available.

On the plate, for example, is the now almost legendary avocado toast on sourdough. French toast, shakshuka, and a breakfast sandwich are also on the menu, supplemented with superfoods like açaí, chia seeds, and goji berries in bowls and smoothies.

Space, Atmosphere, and a Bit of Art Gallery

The café features industrial-chic with exposed brick walls. From the outside, Distrikt Coffee appears smaller than it actually is inside. The walls serve as a backdrop for rotating art exhibitions, and the space can also be rented for private events. Outdoor seating is available in good weather. The café does not take reservations, so an early start is recommended on weekends.
