Bier's Kudamm 195 is set back from the street front of the Kurfürstendamm, nestled between celebrity hair stylist Shan Ramikan and the glass façade of the Berlin branch of the German car brand Audi. It may be that the rate of suit wearer in fine thread and people with chic dark-edged glasses is therefore significantly higher than at other Currywurst stalls in Berlin.
Autographs on large-format Berlin photos at the entrance to the legendary snack bar, which opened in 1965, announce that a number of celebrities have eaten their sausages here, over the years.
Even wedding parties have been spotted here: The bride not in a frilly dress, but in a white pantsuit, the guests with currywurst and champagne. This combination, currywurst with champagne, Bier's Kudamm 195 became famous for. The proletarian sausage snack was offered with fine champagne and thus ennobled. An amazing number of champagne bottles on a shelf at the back give witness.
The beer's is still not lifted, but remained a relatively normal Currywurstbude with its own flair. You can of course also have a beer or a lemonade to go with your sausage. The classic at Bier's is still the Currywurst in the intestine, either with French fries or in the bread roll, which tastes just great with a velvety soft tomato sauce. In addition, there are also Bockwurst, Thuringian, Wiener and various skewers that are appetizing behind glass.
The opening hours are another special feature of this Currywurst place. Hungry night owls can have a Currywurst here until the early morning hours, whether as a midnight snack or as a super-early breakfast.
