Lindenbräu at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin Tiergarten stands for alpine hospitality.
Potsdamer Platz is a place for locals and guests from all over the world who want to explore Berlin where the capital of neighborhoods presents itself as a true metropolis. Who would have thought that right in the middle of the center at Potsdamer Platz, Lindenbräu would be found, an alpine beer garden that transports its visitors into the idyllic world of the mountains?
“Traditional Bavarian cuisine” is the culinary motto of the popular beer garden, whose menu offers brewery classics such as crispy pork hock or roast pork in beer sauce, as well as Berlin delicacies and Austrian specialties like Wiener Schnitzel and homemade Kaiserschmarrn. Of course, a cool beer is a must with Bavarian food: The Hopfinger Organic Natural Cloudy is brewed according to an in-house recipe exclusively from organic ingredients. The in-house beer cocktail and the Alpine shot are also highly recommended.
The family-run Lindenbräu offers a total of 450 indoor and 350 outdoor seats. Take a seat in the cozy beer garden or on the modern rooftop terrace on the second floor. If you prefer to enjoy Bavarian cuisine inside the restaurant, reserve a table in the Lindenalm. In the cozy alpine hut, thanks to the multimedia windows, you have a view of the Austrian Alpine panorama, which is struck by an impressive thunderstorm once an hour.
