At Marlene-Dietrich-Platz in Tiergarten, Le Petit Chef's immersive 3D dinner transforms every table into a stage: Using projection on the plate, the world's smallest chef tells a Dinner Time Story, while a multi-course menu follows the table-side show.

What happens when a six-centimeter-tall chef takes over dinner?

The little chef is projected onto the guests’ tables and plates using 3D project mapping, with every guest practically sitting in the front row. The elaborate animations are created by the Belgian artist collective Skullmapping. This creates an evening that consistently merges gastronomy and theatre, ensuring both remain equally strong.

During the meal, the chef is projected onto the table, accompanying guests with humorous explanations and visually impressive depictions of each course’s preparation. The journey leads from the historical roots of the ingredients to the art of plating and the perfection of technique, conveyed in five successive lessons, with love always remaining the most important ingredient.

Le Petit Chef Berlin: Interactive Dinner at the Grand Hyatt

Le Petit Chef Berlin takes place at the elegant Grand Hyatt on Potsdamer Platz. There are four different menu options to choose from: Premium, Vegetarian, Kids, and Kids Vegetarian. The vegetarian menu can also be prepared vegan. For those who want to use the current menu as a guide: Beef Bourguignon with red wine jus is on the menu, as is poached wolffish with beurre blanc and an interactive raspberry parfait for dessert.

In the interactive finale, guests take the culinary tools into their own hands, bringing together everything they’ve learned and completing their dessert step-by-step. Thus, the evening doesn’t end passively, but with their own little cooking moment. The entire show lasts approximately two hours. Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start.

The service is described as very attentive: orders, drinks, and explanations about the show are handled promptly and courteously. This keeps the focus on what matters: a dinner show where the projection on the plate is not decoration, but narration.
