The Winterfeldt market is most likely the biggest and best known of all markets in Berlin. It takes place on Schöneberg's Winterfeldtplatz, right between Wilmersdorf and Kreuzberg.
The nice market stalls present their wares in an appetizing way and a great overall atmosphere. A nearly endless variety of fruit and veggies, a lot of it from organic production, but also a lot of everyday's food stuffs like bread, sausage and cheese. Add to that items of daily necessity and even clothing to complete the picture.
Around Winterfeldtplatz and the St. Matthias Church you will find a lot of bistros and cafés, for example the Manzini or the Slumberland - a great vantage point to watch the hustle and bustle of the market.
