If you like to dress up and enjoy big hats, you should head to Hoppegarten for the horse races on Easter Sunday 2019. The Hoppegarten Racecourse hosts the Colorful Easter Race starting at 2 PM. Children and teenagers have free entry on this day, and a big children’s surprise even awaits them. Children up to 18 years old should be accompanied by an adult.

The Colorful Easter Race will therefore be family-friendly, so you don’t have to worry about a dress code. The audience is a colorful mix. Alongside elegant ladies with the aforementioned hats, ordinary families in leisure outfits also sit and cheer along with the horse race.

Hoppegarten Racecourse also demonstrates its family-friendliness through its free children’s program, which is offered on all race days. There will be Easter bunnies, Easter lambs, and Easter eggs for the children. Easter Bunny Ingo invites them to a big Easter egg hunt. Real lambs and bunnies can be petted. Pony rides, bouncy castles, and face painting provide entertainment for the young visitors.

Culinarily, there’s also plenty of Easter delights. In the visitor area, there’s a beer garden, food trucks will be present, and the Wiener Café offers braised meadow veal with glazed carrots, pumpkin seed oil, and mashed potatoes. In the boxes of the main grandstand, fans have a top view of the horses and are served food and drinks at their seats. Beginners can cheer along with a small win or place bet at the horse race.
