Oster-Ritterfest in der Zitadelle Spandau

This year, the popular family spectacle, the Easter Knight Festival, will also be celebrated at Spandau Citadel. The 18th Easter Knight Festival is loud, colorful, bustling, and fun for everyone, from toddlers to grandmas. Knight tournaments on horseback will make little ones’ eyes wide with medieval fencing and combat scenes. Jesters will showcase their tricks, including juggling and acrobatics, as well as fakir and fire shows. Those who still need a bit of Easter decoration or other handcrafted small items can find inspiration at the historical Easter market with contemporary music.

Little knights can practice archery and crossbow shooting, watch children’s theater, listen to storytellers, ride on a historical children’s carousel, or venture into the Troll Forest.

Spandau Citadel is considered one of the best-preserved Renaissance fortresses in Europe and is therefore already worth a visit. Admission to the Knight Festival also includes access to all exhibitions of the Citadel and entry to the tower.
