Easter at the open-air museum! Museumsdorf Düppel celebrates a medieval Easter festival with market, music, and camp life for Easter 2025.

Many merchants offer colorful goods made of wood, ceramics, paper, and fabrics at a small Easter market in the medieval village square. Many different hands-on activities around the theme of Easter and spring await visitors. In addition to traditional egg painting, children can also try their hand at historical games.

The medieval village will be “inhabited” during the Easter days, allowing visitors to see medieval craftsmen and villagers in authentic clothing going about their business. On Easter Monday, a walk with bird expert Derk Ehlert will be offered for the whole family.
