Wintermärchen im Theater im Delphi

If you want to see one of the great filming locations from the series "Babylon Berlin", you have the opportunity to do so in the former silent film cinema Delphi. Shakespeare's Winter's Tale will be performed here until the end of the year.
William Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” is performing at the Theater im Delphi in Berlin-Pankow. A visit to this beautiful former silent film cinema is worth the trip to Pankow alone, as the Delphi cinema made it into the series “Babylon Berlin” as a backdrop for 1920s Berlin.
In this beautiful theater, the Shakespeare Company Berlin is now performing “The Winter’s Tale”, the poetic-comedic romance from Shakespeare’s late work, which is essentially about reconciliation between people. With many fairytale elements, the great Shakespearean themes such as jealousy, rivalry, intrigue, and love are spectacularly brought to life.
“Let us also go there, and offer our company to the general joy.” With these words from “The Winter’s Tale”, the Shakespeare Company warmly invites visitors to celebrate life, togetherness, and connection.
